The 2025 Caribbean Days Festival in Coquitlam, British Columbia, brought a lively celebration of Caribbean culture to the city on July 26. This two-day event attracted families and visitors with a colorful parade, music, food, and crafts that showcased the rich heritage of the Caribbean community.

A highlight of the festival was the vibrant Carnival Parade. Children and adults alike dressed in bright, traditional costumes. One child in particular posed happily for photos, capturing the joyful spirit of the event. Throughout the festival, live music performances filled the air. Bands and solo artists played a mix of reggae, soca, calypso, and other Caribbean genres. The music created a festive atmosphere that invited everyone to dance and celebrate.

Cultural performances added depth to the experience. Dancers, singers, and storytellers presented traditional acts, sharing stories and history from various Caribbean islands. These performances helped connect attendees to the roots of Caribbean culture.
